Hi Simon, Tony and the rest of the crew.
Just a word to say how much we all enjoyed the day. Dogs are all sleeping peacefully now, absolutely shattered. Your organisation and preparation for the day are to be commended, well done. I have done displays at a few now and today has got to be the best funday/fete we have done. Special thanks to all the runners who helped out, especially the two lads who helped us set up each time. Hope you can pass that on to them. If you would like us to appear in the future don't hesitate to contact me, it will be a pleasure.
Many thanks again
Mick, Deb, Merlin, Guin and Mist

Hi Jackie, Yes dogs are allowed to come to the fete, we just ask you keep them on a lead while there, if you need to let them off for a run there are plenty of feilds round within few mins walk.

Hi, I was just browsing Gin Pit Village with my husband and saw the post from a NZer above. We presently live in Christchurch, NZ and after the two devasting earthquakes (Sept and Feb) plus in excess of 5000 aftershocks, are desperately looking to move back to the UK (I grew up in Tyldesley), but dont want to loose the sense of community and belonging we found here in Chch. We thought of Gin Pit immediately. We hope to move into your community, finances allowing (we are told it maybe 3 years before our house here gets fixed and we are able to sell it). It is refreshing to see the photos online on your website and see that a sense of environment and community is still strong. Wishing you all the best (and hoping we can make a move there sooner than later - but we'll see). Bye from sunny (but very shaky) NZ.
