Spring-ing Into Action!

Posted by Simon under: GinPit Village Chat .

With spring in the air there is lots of village activity. There are lots of projects starting up.

  • Bird feeding program is UP and Running . Located near the entrance to the park at the bottom of School st. The bird food storage unit is fitted with a combination lock that any member of the GPRA can ask for the code and then fill up your feeders. In addition to just feeding birds, there will also be a planting program to help feed birds and encourage insect life.
  • Notice Board. The GPRA have put a notice board up at the entrance to the village green of ley Rd.  Please do stop past as there will be loads of info there.
  • Monthly newsletter. There will  be a monthly newsletter keeping you up to date with local goings on and events.
  • Introduction of monthly environment weekends. From March the 3rd weekend of each month will be environment weekends. So that’s the 19th & 20th March. With regular dates in place the hope is that more people will come join in. But if you would like to help in anyway at all then contact us.

One Comment so far...

I would just like to say that the monthly newsletter is really good. Lots of information.
