AGM ~ Report

Posted by Simon under: GinPit Village Chat .

The Meeting was attended by 15 people. we would like to thank PCSO Dave for coming to count our votes for us.  The new committee has been voted in for the year 2011 ~ 2012. A huge thanks to Yvonne for the hard work she has done being the treasurer for the past 2 years and lets hope the new one can live up to her good work. :-) .

Within the meeting there has been a discussion for a firm monthly environment day, (possibly every 3rd Saturday) this way, a list of works can be created and a program worked out. Please do come and get involved to keep our small part of the planet safe.

There was a update on the dog foul situation: this is a large problem and hopefully we will have positive news soon to tackle this problem.

There was proposal for the village fete day to be moved to sometime in May. There was a vote and the idea has been past.

Village fete 2011:  Sunday August 7th

Village fete 2012 :  MAY (date to be confirmed)

Thanks to all who attended
