Volunteer Tasks

April-June – 2010

Thursday 22nd April

10 -12:30

Colliers Wood

Tidying up Entrance signs. Meet at Miner’s Welfare.

Tuesday

4th May

10-12:30pm

Tree Bank

Cutting back overgrown foopaths.  Meet at St. Gabriel’s Club.

Thursday

20th May

10-12:30pm

Colliers Wood

Fixing broken horse stile on North Lane.  Meet at Miner’s Welfare.

Sunday

20th June

10-3pm

Colliers Wood

Putting in a new bench or two.  Meet at Miner’s Welfare.

  • Miner’s Welfare, Meanley Rd, Gin Pit Village M29 7DW.
  • St. Gabriel’s Club, Richmond Drive, Higher Folds, Leigh WN7 2XG
For all tasks, please come in old clothes and bring waterproofs.  Gloves, tools and hot drinks will be provided.  For full day tasks, bring a packed lunch.

The task leader has the right to refuse any member of the public from the activity, if it is felt they are inadequately dressed or there is a health and safety risk. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
