What a Fantastic Effort

Congratulations to Gin Pit Residents Association for a magnificent Village Fete. The weather was great as was the turn out. Crowds of people enjoyed a great family day out in the sunshine.
The event was well organised and well marshaled. We did not experience the parking and traffic problems of last year, everyone seemed to have a really good time.
The shows put on by the Lincoln County Regulators were loud and exciting. Even Elvis turned up in a faulous 1959 Cadilac.

All in all it was a record breaking day, the crowds were bigger than ever, and though the final figures are not yet in, it is clear we raised more money than ever before.
My thanks go to all who worked so hard to make the day one to remember!

It was a fantastic day and went tremendously well. Everyone had a good time and we all worked so hard. I wish I could have seen more of it. We need more stalls with more games for next year. If you want to be part of next years fete please get in touch with one of the Residents, you will be more than welcome to be part of this great local event. Any ideas for next year will be gratefully received.

sounds like it was fab and wot i saw from the dvd it looked brill!!! (can we get any pics and vid up to see?)…
wont miss next year!!! wots it going to be? joust? medevil battel? moster trucks? monsters? who knows…. but i carnt wait.

What a great 3 part video! My friend & I went to this event (surprised to see myself and my friend on part 3!) and had a good hour there. Sadly we missed the Wild West show, I think I’d have enjoyed watching that, I like shows that entertain you like this. I really liked the American cars a lot, the Cadillac was my favorite, a very nice classic! I’m glad the field filled up with people for you, it was a wash out last year and weren’t that many people on the ground. This years event must have topped it off, and the Theme of the event this year made it superb!
All in all it was a well supported event and I for one would like to thank the organizers, the traders etc for putting on another great fete!
I’ve attended the show for 2 years now and it certainly won’t be the last! I’ll look forward to next years event and also look forward to see what surprise/surprises will be in store for us keen visitors!
