Rain didn’t stop play

Posted by Philip Winterbottom under: GinPit Village Chat .

The Higher Folds Fun Day in support of the Mayor’s Charities, Menengitis and err what was the other one, oh yes Altzheimers Research, was another success. Despite a poor turn out due the bad weather, our hardy volunteers put the Butty Wagon through its paces, turning out Bacon Butties, Beef Burgers and Hot Dogs as well as much needed cups of hot tea and coffee.

In spite of the weather conspiring against us once again we managed to turn a decent profit for Village Funds.
