Annual General Meeting

The Residents Association Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 29th January 2009 at the Miners Welfare starting at 7:30. All are welcome.

Make sure you re-new your Subscription to the Association or join as a new member for £2.oo per adult. If you are not a Member of the Association you can not vote in the election of committee members which will take place at the AGM.

Come along and vote for the Committee that you think will do the best they can for your village. If you have any ideas that you think would improve your village come along and put your veiws forward.

Anyone can stand for election. If you would like to stand for election to the committee you must be a Member of the Association. Complete a Nomination form which can be obtained from Jeanette, the Association Secretary. If you would like to nominate someone else, please obtain their permission first.

Your completed nomination form must be returned it to Jeanette by Thurs 22nd January 2009.  This will ensure that all nominations can be included on ballot papers for use on the evening of the meeting. It will also allow time for any “Votes by Proxy” to be collected. If you will be unable to attend the AGM because you are ill or on holiday, please ask Jeanette for a form so that you do not lose your opportunity to vote.

Me and heather are away in france for this, we did think of a internet link to see what happens. ;-)
