Overseas visitors to Gin Pit

yesterday the village had visitors from New Zealand they had not seen the village for 35 years! They were with there inlaws from down south visiting there brother in higher fold They were amazed how beautiful the village has become. One of there reletives lived in Meanley Road before she was married unfortunately she died when she was quite young .Our New Zealand visitors blame themselves for the very wet weather they must have dragged it with them they were expecting hot summer weather not the winter weather they left behind . Lets hope they take it back with them.
